Gallery of ATCs
What's an "ATC"?
ATC stands for "Artist Trading Card" -- they are similar to baseball trading cards but instead they are original bits of art. They can be hand-drawn, collaged, inked, water color, etc or any combination of the above, as long as they are done on a "card", 2.5" x 3.5" in size. Art in Your Pocket is a fabulous web page on how to start making ATCs.
The "trading" part comes in when you trade your "artist card" for one from another artist. There are websites that facilitate this process, my favorite one being ATCards.com now available at ATCsforAll.com. Another active site is the Yahoo Artist Trading Card group. And last but not least, there are in-person Meetups as well. For archives, exhibits, examples and history of the art form you will need to check out the original ATC site.
While it's been a (rather long) while since I've made any ATCs myself, you're free to peruse my ATC Gallery.
